New Foundation Church
New Foundation Church was in need of a new beginning. After nearly ninety years of ministry, the congregation faced a major transition that, in many ways, amounted to starting over. Thus, it was a new church with deep roots in the community. It needed a website that would reflect its new identity and direction and highlight its engagement with the community.

Branding Design
One of the greatest challenges facing NFC was creating a unified brand identity. As a multiethnic congregation with services in more than one language, it was necessary to think through branding that would translate and resonate across cultures. It was also important to design an identity that would be recognizably consistent across languages. Warp Ten’s design team came up with an icon which combined the Christian cross and a silhouette of a dove (representing the Holy Spirit), which would be recognizable in any language. It then designed a wordmark that could be translated into any language.
Responsive Layout
NFC knew that its members and neighbors access the web from a variety of devices. Immigrants, especially, are likely to access the site through a mobile phone rather than a desktop. Therefore, the site had to look good and be functional in both mobile and desktop environments.

Easy Updates
As a small, startup church, the team at NFC did not have time or energy to spend large amounts of time updating their website with the latest information. Therefore, Warp Ten designed the website to make their lives easier. Using WordPress ensured different people could update the site quickly and easily. By integrating the YouTube Data API, video content updates automatically, and other site components update automatically as new content is published.
Social Connection
Using Jetpack’s social media integration tools, Warp Ten was able to engineer the site so that updating the website automatically updated the church’s social media. This meant staff no longer had to update the web and each social media platform individually.
